What to bring

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a boating licence?

No licence? No problem. We complete a quick Rental Boat Safety Checklist with you at the dock, which legally covers you for the rental period.

What's included in the price?

A full tank of gas, life jackets for everyone aboard, safety gear, and a hands-on orientation before you leave the dock.

Where do we launch from?

Gellatly Bay Boat Launch at the West Kelowna Yacht Club — 4111 Gellatly Road, West Kelowna. Free parking, and exact meeting details come with your booking confirmation.

What if the weather turns bad?

If conditions cut your rental short, we refund the unused time on a prorated basis. Safety first — we'd rather have you back another day.

Is there a damage deposit?

Yes — a refundable $1,000 damage deposit is held on your card at pickup and released after the boat is returned in good shape.

Can I book for today?

Same-day rentals can't be booked through the form — call or text (250) 212-4476 and we'll tell you right away if the boat is free.

Do you do multi-day rentals?

Yes — 2 or more days gets a discounted daily rate, and we can deliver the boat to your dock or preferred launch in the West Kelowna / Kelowna area. Call or text (250) 212-4476 to arrange.

Can we hire a captain?

Yes — a flat $300 on top of your rental. Your captain drives the whole time, knows the lake's best coves and beaches, and is the designated driver for wine cruises. Popular with groups who all want to be on vacation.

Do you rent tubes or water toys?

We don't — but bring your own! The 150HP Mercury tows tubes happily and there's plenty of room aboard for your gear.

How old do I need to be to rent and drive?

The renter and driver must be 19 or older with valid government ID.
